De La Mare, Walter - Songs of Childhood

First published in 1902, this is the first Faber edition with decorations by Marion Rivers-Moore. A UK first edition thus.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped. It shows light soiling to the spine panel. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are very clean and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. There is gentle bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are just a little dusty. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
