Van Dine, S S - The Gracie Allen Murder Case

A UK first edition, first impression.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped. It shows the price 7/6 on the spine. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing minor scuffing and creasing to the top and bottom edges. The spine is unfaded, and is gently scuffed and rubbed at the top and the bottom. It shows tiny slithers of loss at either end. The back panel, like the front, is sound, showing gentle rubbing to the edges and corners. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The lower corners and the spine ends are bruised. The text block is clean. The closed page edges are slightly dusty and slightly toned. They show isolated spotting. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. There is a small, neat ownership signature on the ffep. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
