WRAPPER : The period wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is unfaded and clean. It shows a tiny area of loss to the leading edge and scuffing at the lower spine corner. The upper leading edge corner is chipped. The red bands on the spine are faded and the spine ends are gently bruised. The back panel is sound - it shows light overall soiling and light staining at the spine crease. Looks solid in protective plastic.
BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are toned at the edges. The leading edge on the front board shows a small area of damage. The corners are sharp. There is a touch of bruising to the spine ends. The spine is gently toned. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound, if very slightly dusty. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A solid copy in a protected wrapper.
