EU Shipping

As the United Kingdom left the European Union in 2021 residents of the EU are required to pay VAT and customs charges according to the destination country’s levy for books imported from the UK.

Orders of £135 and Under

The EU’s IOSS scheme enables companies to pay VAT upfront for books with a value of under £135 so that there are no additional import or handling charges. The expense of joining the scheme isn’t feasible for small companies such as ourselves. However, all our books are listed on ABE Books and they do belong to the IOSS scheme. ABE will refund you if taxes or charges are made erroneously, despite being included in the scheme. We therefore suggest that to ensure there are no customs duties on books you buy from us that you visit our store on ABE Books here. Orders over £135

Unfortunately the IOSS scheme does not apply to orders over £135 and if the book(s) you would like to buy are for greater than this amount then please contact us and we can quote for delivery including taxes.
