A US first edition, first impression.

Wrapper: The period wrapper on this copy is remarkably bright and clean. It is unfaded, unclipped and complete. I suspect it was locked away in cupboard for 70 years and then put on this copy of the book. Well preserved. Looks very sharp in protective plastic.

Book: The book is tight. The boards are very clean and very bright. The top edge on the back board is rubbed, the bottom leading edge corner on the front board is very lightly bruised. There is a touch of bruising to the spine ends. The text block is clean and bright. The closed page edges are sound. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight. There are no ownership inscriptions. An attractive copy in a protected wrapper.
