A SIGNED UK first edition, first impression.
WRAPPER: The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright, clean and unfaded, as is the spine. The white back panel is sound, showing a touch of bruising to the bottom edge. The bottom edge of the front inside flap is bruised. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK: The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are bright. No dog-eared pages - four or five pages are bumped along the bottom edge. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED and dated (1991) by Brian Aldiss to the title page. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
