A SIGNED UK first edition, first impression. A Very Good + copy in a Very Good unclipped dustwrapper. The wrapper is bright and - unusually for this title - unfaded at the spine. It shows chipping and scuffing at the upper edges and at the head of the spine. There is 5cm closed tear running down from the top edge of the front panel. Looks sharp in protective plastic. The book is clean, square and tight. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are slightly toned. No foxing. No remainder marks. No inscriptions. Tight binding - no loose or dog-eared pages. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED to the title page by David Attenborough.
