Uncommon signed as, sadly, this was published a few weeks after Iain Banks died. This copy was INSCRIBED - pre- publication - to a Little Brown rep at an event in London on May 14 of 2013. Comes with a photocopy letter of invitation to the event ( the recipient is listed as one of those to whom the invitation was sent ) and Banks' inscription is dated 14 / 05 / 13. An INSCRIBED UK first edition, first impression. A near fine + copy in a fine, unclipped dustwrapper. The wrapper on this copy is bright, unclipped and unfaded. Looks sharp. The book is clean, square and very tight. The corners are sharp. The boards and text block are bright. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are slightly dulled. There is a touch of bruising to the spine ends. No foxing. No cracked hinges. No inscriptions. This copy has been INSCRIBED by Iain Banks to the title page. Extremely uncommon thus.
