Postage Stamp Murder

A UK first edition, first impression. Undated, but 1936 (Hubin).

Wrapper: The period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It has been heavily clipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing gentle wear to the top and bottom edges and tiny nicks at each of the corners. The spine is clean and unfaded. It shows rubbing and light scuffing at the ends. The white back panel is sound, showing gentle overall soiling. It shows gentle wear at the top and bottom edges, including a single closed tear (2cm) running down from the top edge. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

Book: The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners and the spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound, if very slightly dusty and slightly dulled. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. No loose pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions.
