We previously bought and/or sold this book in the following, or similar, condition:
The first Noddy book. A UK first edition, first impression - with all the requisite issue points.
WRAPPER: The wrapper on this copy is a little tired, but is unfaded and complete. It is unclipped and priced at 3s.6d. It is worn at the edges - there is a triangular piece missing out of the bottom edge of the back panel. The back panel is slightly wrinkly, the front panel is lightly soiled at the bottom edge. The spine is unfaded. The spine ends are lightly worn. Still looks bright in protective plastic.
BOOK: The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions - The 'This Book Belongs To' section is not filled in. The boards are clean and bright - they show some wear at the edges. There is light bruising to the corners and spine ends. The pages are very clean. No foxing, no dog-eared pages. The closed page edges faint flecking. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. A decent copy.
