If you own this book and want to sell this book to us (Boulger, Professor F L S - British Flowering Plants), please consider contacting us for a book value quote.
We previously bought and/or sold this book in the following, or similar, condition:
260 full-page coloured plates of wildflowers drawn by Mrs Henry Perin, with anatomical insets and detailed botanical descriptions. It's edited by A K Jackson, of the Herbarium at Kew Gardens. The original books were in 4 volumes, printed in 1914. This is the 1939 version, which combined all 4 volumes into 1 large book.
Wrapper: The wrapper is torn, although clean, unfaded and complete. The protective plastic reduces the visual impact of the tear.
Book: The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean, with some fading at the right edge shown in the photos. The corners are sharp. The pages are clean and bright. No foxing. The closed page edges are unmarked. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
Please note that this book is heavier than standard and postage will be more than usual - please contact us for the shipping price.
