BOOK : The book is sound and tight. The front and back boards are clean - there are two faint splash marks ( barely discernible ) on the front board. There is bruising to the leading edges and the spine ends. The spine is gently sunned. The spine lettering is bold. The pages are clean - the endpapers show ghosting. The closed page edges are dusty. The binding is tight with no loose pages or cracked hinges. There is a booklate on the front pastedown and a contemporary ( 1890 ) ownership inscription on the title page. A decent copy.
