WRAPPER : The wrapper is bright, clean, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. There is light occasional wear to the edges and the tail of the spine. Looks very smart.
BOOK : The book is tight, bright and square. The boards are clean - the front board shows two or three shallow indentations. The spine has faded - leading me to assume that the book and wrapper are probably a marriage. The spine ends and extremities are a little bumped. The pages are clean. The text block is slightly dulled. The top edge is sprayed purple, a later addition. The binding is tight. No cracked hinges. A bright first edition in a lovely period wrapper.
