INSCRIBED to the children’s book pioneer and Bookstart founder, Wendy Cooling. The book is sound and tight. The front and back boards are very bright, very clean and very sharp. The corners are sharp. The spine is bright and crisp. The pages are clean and bright. No foxing. The closed page edges are fresh. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. This copy has been INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Anthony Browne to the half title page. In addition Anthony Browne has drawn a large gorilla head.
