Original black boards. Upper board and spine lettered in gilt. A UK first edition. A decent copy, solid and compete. The boards are bright, the git lettering on the upper board is bold. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are generally bright. The closed pages edges are a little dulled and show light and occasional spotting. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges, no loose pages. There is a dated, contemporary gift inscription ( 1913 ) on the ffep. A decent copy of an uncommon book.
