First edition - Blanchard A2.2. Variant binding with original blue boards. Shortened title on the spine. No wrapper. A bright copy, sharp and complete. The boards are bright - the decorations on the front board are bold. The corners are sharp. The spine is bright. The pages are clan. The closed pages edges are a little dulled. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges, no loose pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions - there is an ornate ownership bookplate on the front pastedown. An attractive copy.
