Illustrated by Eric Gill, with one full-page illustration, twenty-nine half-page illustrations, numerous decorative borders, tailpieces and line-fillers, and sixty-one initial letters printed in red and blue. Folio, in the original bindings - quarter niger morocco over patterned paper covered boards. A Very Good ++ set. Clean, unfaded boards, gently rubbed at the corners. Solid spines with bold gilt lettering. There is a touch of loss to the third compartment on the spine of vol IV. Internally very bright. Tight binding. Previous ownership inscription in pencil on each volume. An attractive set.
