WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped - showing the price 10s 6d on the inside flap. It is lightly rubbed to the edges and the head of the spine is scuffed. The white back panel is slightly soiled. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. The yellow boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. There is a touch of trivial toning to the spine ends. The text block is clean - there is some ghosting to the endpapers. The closed page edges are gently toned with age. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. There is a neat previous ownership inscription on the ffep. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
