ORIGINAL COLLINS ARTWORK. The ORIGINAL, hand-painted dustwrapper artwork by Barbara Walton for North From Thursday. The story is based on the 1951 eruption of Mount Lamington and tells the tale of a group of survivors fleeing across the country. This cover was used for the first UK edition, printed in 1960. It is hand-painted and measures 8 3/8 x 6 1/8 inches, mounted on a light white board. The margins of the white board include pencilled instructions to the printer. The piece has been SIGNED by Barbara Walton. Unique. Please note that, due to the size, postage will be more than standard.
