A UK first edition, first impression.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing trivial bruising to the upper edge and a very slight border of toning along the spine. There is a small scuff at the bottom edge of the panel. The spine has gently darkened and is lightly rubbed at the head. The back panel is bright, showing insignificant bruising to the upper edge. Looks solid in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine is slightly faded, the spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean - there is ghosting and very light foxing to the endpapers. The closed page edges show occasional spotting. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
