Conrad, Joseph - Nostromo

Original green cloth, decorated in orange and black, lettered in gilt. First American Edition, First Issue - with Europe misspelled on page 201 . A US first edition, first impression. No wrapper. The book is sound, bright and tight. The front and back boards are clean, with minimal blotching at the lower edges. The gilt and decorations on the boards and spine are very bright. The corners and spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean and without foxing. The closed page edges are dulled with age. The upper leading edge page corner on seven or eight pages is bruised. The binding is tight - no loose pages or cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy.
