A UK first edition, first impression.

WRAPPER : The Thomas Henry wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped, showing the price 10/6 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing light wear at the top and bottom edges - including an innocuous closed tear running up from the bottom edge. The spine is fresh and UNFADED. It shows light scuffing at the head. The white back is sound. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square, bright and very tight. The boards are clean and bright. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are dusty and show occasional spotting. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
