No wrapper as issued. Decorated boards, red cloth spine. Illustrated throughout. A UK first edition, first impression. The book is bright and tight. The front and back boards are very clean and are unfaded. There is light rubbing to the corners. The red spine has - inevitably - faded. The text block is generally clean ( ghosting to ffep and one or two faint spots on the first few pages). The closed page edges are dulled with age. Tight binding. No loose pages. No inscriptions. A very nice copy.
