An undated 4th edition - from the late 1920's / early 1930's.

Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright, showing rubbing to the edges, tiny nicks to the corners and gentle wear to the bottom edge. The spine is bright. The red sections of the spine have gently faded. The spine ends are slightly scuffed and nicked. The back panel is sound. The upper and lower edges are lightly chipped and worn. Looks sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean - the top edge of the front board is gently faded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean, though dulled with age. The closed page edges are browned and show occasional spotting. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
