I can't work this one out. A 1934 book - as stated on the title page - and so a first edition in a reprint jacket - as evidenced by numbering to the spine. A mystery (somewhat appropriately). An early UK reprint (?).
Wrapper: The wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It has been clipped. The front panel is bright, clean and unfaded, showing light rubbing to the edges and corners. The spine is bright and clean. The spine ends are very gently rubbed and scuffed. The back panel is clean, unfaded and bright, showing trivial bruising to the edges. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
Book: The book is square and very tight. The boards are very bright and very clean. The lower corners are very slightly bruised. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are very clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are fresh. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
