Thriller about the attempted Japanese invasion of India. A UK first edition, first impression. A scarce title.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and unclipped - showing the price 8s 6d on the inside flap. The front panel is unfaded, showing minor wear to the edges and nicking to the corners. The head of the panel is soiled. The spine is unfaded, and is very slightly rubbed and scuffed at the top and the bottom. The white back panel is lightly soiled and gently worn at the head. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. The boards are unfaded and the corners are sharp. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The text block is clean. The closed page edges are gently toned with age and are a little dusty. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. There is a tidy name and address written on the Front pastedown and hidden under the front wrapper flap. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
