BOOK : The book is sound and square. The boards and spine are clean and bright. The front board decoration is bold. There is slight rubbing to each of the corners. The spine is sound, the spine ends are gently bruised and worn. The lettering on both the front board and the spine is bright. The pages are clean and without foxing. The decorated endpapers are toned. The closed page edges are dulled. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The front board hinge is cracked. There is a prize inscription on the ffep - it is handwritten and dated 1900. A very nice copy of a scarce book.
