Poem by Lawrence Durrell, illustrated by Ralph Steadman. Published by The Steam Press, based in Bernard Stone's Turrett Bookshop. Folded card broadsheet in a blue / grey wrapper. Out of series, single broadsheet that was one of the poems in Steadman's Steam Press Portfolio 2. Bernard Stone's copy - INSCRIBED to him by Steadman: This is to (well, that is to certify) this is -well-you know- sort of- kind of- well - hee hee, snigger a jolly good really. Don't throw it away mind ! Keep it - it could be worth a lot one of these days ! Boldly SIGNED by Steadman who has also written StoneD a number of times along the foot of the poem. A fine copy - no fading, inscriptions or blemishes.
