Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners sharp. There is a tiny hint of bruising to the spine ends. The pages and closed page edges are clean and bright. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. No remainder marks. James Ellroy has SIGNED the half title page and INSCRIBED the book : To Mike, L.A. - L.A.P.D of sleaze. Ellroy has then written something I can't decipher. A lovely copy in a protected wrapper.
