Book: The book is square and tight. The boards show one or two marks but are, in general, clean and unfaded. The corners are gently bruised, as are the spine ends. The spine lettering is bright. The pages are clean - the end papers are toned. The closed page edges are dusty. The binding is solid - the front board hinge is very slightly cracked. There is a bookplate on the front pastedown and a contemporary ( 1924 ) gift inscription on the ffep. A decent copy in a protected wrapper. .
