A UK first edition, first impression.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. It shows light soiling to the white back panel and an internally repaired ( and sympathetically touched up ) closed tear ( 4cm ) running down from the top edge of the front panel. Looks sharp.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are very clean and very bright. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
