First published in the USA by Winston in 1913, this is the infinitely more attractive Dodd Mead 1930 reissue.

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped, showing the price $2.00 on the inside flap. The front panel is bright, unfaded and bold. The spine panel has faded and shows trivial bruising at the ends. The white back panel is toned. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are bright and clean. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are toned and a touch dusty. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
