Freeman, R Austin - The Puzzle Lock

A US first edition, first impression in the rare wrapper. 1926 stated on the title page.

WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped, though it does not seem to have a printed price on the flaps ( or the spine, for that matter ). It shows light wear to all edges. The white spine panel is soiled, the spine ends are slightly worn. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are bright. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are flecked. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
