WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean and complete. It has been clipped. It shows traces of rubbing to the spine ends. Unusually for this title, the spine is unfaded. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are very gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are very slightly dusty. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED ( with a small celtic cross ) by Alan Garner to the title page. Uncommon SIGNED. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
