A collection of 15 paintings of lighthouses around Great Britain by Leslie Gerry with text by members of the Stevenson family of lighthouse engineers. Also a diary by Robert Stevenson on the Building of the Bell Rock Lighthouse edited by Robert Louis Stevenson is included in the ‘B’ and ‘C’ bindings. The deluxe binding includes working LED light.

An edition of 250 copies in three versions. 43cm x 16cm, 64pp, 18 full colour double-spread illustrations, printed on 190gsm Bockingford watercolour paper with a 12 colour inkjet printer using archive inks.

‘A’ Edition: 120 Regular copies, casebound with printed cloth covered boards in a cloth covered slipcase. 

‘B’ Edition: 80 Regular copies, casebound alongside a 76pp cloth-bound diary printed on 145gsm Zerkall mould-made paper. Both enclosed in a cloth covered slipcase. 

'C' Edition: 50 Deluxe copies.  An elegant solander box bound in red, white and black leather, the front section becomes a stand-alone lighthouse with an LED light. The rear section holds a 64pp leather bound copy of Lighthouse and a 76pp diary of the Building of the Bell Rock Lighthouse , bound in full leather, printed on 145gsm Zerkall mould-made paper.  43cm x 16cm, with 3 pull-out diagrams. A fascinating insight into the building of what is renowned as one of the wonders of the industrial world to protect ships from the infamous Inchcape reef in the early nineteenth century.
