Gilson, Major Charles - Libyan Patrol

A presumed UK first edition, first impression. - undated, but from the early 1940's.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright and complete. It is unclipped, showing the price 4/- on the inside flap. It is lightly rubbed to the edges and the spine ends. There is a faint stain towards the top of the spine panel. The white back panel is slightly soiled. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is tight. The tan boards are unfaded and bright. The corners are sharp. There is a touch of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The text block is clean. The closed page edges are a little dusty. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
