A Poldark novel. A UK first edition, first impression.

Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It has been clipped. The front panel is clean and unfaded, showing creasing and some tearing ( repaired internally ) at the upper spine corner. The spine has faded. It is rubbed at the based and has had some restoration work done at the head. The back panel is sound. Looks sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners sharp. It shows a hint of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are slightly dusty, the top edge is lightly flecked. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
