A UK first edition, first impression. Uncommon.
WRAPPER: The evocative wrapper on this copy (artwork by Barbara Walton) is bright and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing trivial wear to the bottom edge. The spine is unfaded and clean. It shows some inconsequential rubbing to the ends. The back panel is sound, showing gentle overall soiling. Looks sharp in protective plastic.
BOOK: The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean, the corners are sharp. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are sound, if insignificantly dusty and slightly toned. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
