An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy ). This is a clean copy without previous ownership inscriptions. The covers are unfaded, showing tiny creases at each of the corners. There is an area of indentation on the front cover. The spine is sound, solid, unfaded and intact. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are sound - the top edge is flecked. The binding is solid - no cracked hinges or loose pages. One or two top leading edge page corners are bruised. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in reasonable condition. Uncommon.
