Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy ( artwork by George Adamson ) is bright, clean and complete. It is unclipped. It shows light soiling to the back panel and gentle bruising to the lower edges. The red lettering on the spine has lost a little of its lustre. Looks sharp.
Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are very clean and are unfaded and bright. The corners are sharp. It shows a hint of trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are very clean. The closed page edges are fresh. No foxing. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. This copy has been SIGNED on the ffep : 'with good wishes from Peggy and George'. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper.
