A bright UK first edition thus, first impression. John Fowles' copy, with his ownership inscription on the ffep.
WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded, complete and unclipped. Looks very sharp.
BOOK : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean ( there is a tiny mark on the front board), the corners sharp. The pages are clean and bright. The closed page edges are very lightly toned. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. No remainder marks. SIGNED by John Fowles to the title page - one of a number of Ted Hughes titles bought from the library of John Fowles. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
