Original decorated brown cloth. Gilt and black and white lettering and designs to the spine. 1895 Fifth printing - 'thoroughly revised and with additions'. First published in 1890. The book is bright, clean and tight. The front and back boards are very clean. The corners are sharp. The spine is sharp, the spine ends are trivially bruised. The pages are very clean. The closed page edges are dulled and a tad dusty and flecked. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges, no loose pages. There is a neat previous ownership inscription on the ffep. An attractive, well preserved copy.
