The official magazine of the Vedanta Society of Southern California that attracted the attention of many notable intellectuals of the day including Aldous Huxley, W. Somerset Maugham, Gerald Heard, Alan Watts, Arnold Toynbee, and Christopher Isherwood. This copy is the September - October issue of 1950 and includes articles on "Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali" by Isherwood and Swami Prabhavananda; "Suffering" by John R. Yale; and "Buddha" by Edward Upward. A decent copy that is tight and without inscriptions. The covers are toned at the edges. Tight binding. This copy has been SIGNED to the contents page by Christopher Isherwood. A nice copy, very uncommon SIGNED.
