Joans, Ted - Santa Claws

Published by Bernard Stone’s Turret Bookshop as a folded holiday greeting card. Written in 1968, 'Santa Claws' first appeared in the book, Black Pow-Wow, which was published in 1969. This piece is undated. However, Scott M. Burns’ Ralph Steadman Bibliography lists the date as 1970. A UK first edition. Off-white card, folded once. Ralph Steadman illustration to front of card, poem inside. A bright, fresh copy, no fading, inscriptions or creases. Scuff to top of front cover - see photo. Unusual.
