With a foreword by Colonel R. H. Vetch, C.B. Original yellow / orange cloth. Black lettering to the spine and front board. All maps and illustrations present. A UK first edition. Externally sound with slightly soiled boards and minimal bruising to the corners. The lettering on the front board is bright. The spine ends are slightly bruised, the spine panel is slightly discoloured. The pages are gently toned and show foxing to the opening and closing few pages. The closed page edges are dulled and lightly spotted. There is a neat contemporary prize inscription ( 1927 ) on the ffep. No loose pages, tight binding. A nice copy of an uncommon title.
