Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Willliam Kermode ) is bright, unfaded, complete and unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded. The top edges shows gentle wear. The spine shows scuffing and rubbing at either end. The white back panel is lightly spotted. Looks very sharp.

Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded. There is a touch of bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are dulled and very slightly dusty. The binding is tight with no dog-eared pages or cracked hinges. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
