Kennedy, Margaret - A Night in Cold Harbour - Uncorrected proof copy

An uncorrected UK proof ( Advanced Reader's Copy - presumably a copy used by Macmillan staff as there are notes - in pencil - regarding the book's proposed jacket on the half title page. This is a bright, clean copy, without ownership inscriptions. The covers are solid and unfaded with a touch of bruising to the leading edge corners. The spine is intact - the word KENNEDY had been written on it in red pen. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are slightly dusty. The binding is solid with no cracked hinges or loose pages. The book has a slight lean. Given the fragility of proof copies, this is in very nice condition.
