A UK first edition, first impression of Kruger's interpretation of the life of Thomas Chatterton.

WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy ( artwork by Biro ) is bright, clean, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. Looks sharp in protective plastic.

BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean and bright. The spine ends are trivially bruised. The corners are sharp. The pages are clean - one signature is darker than the rest , probably the result of a different paper stock being used. The closed page edges are unmarked. No dog-eared pages. The binding is solid, with just the boards feeling a little loose. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A bright copy.
