WRAPPER : The fragile silver wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing gentle wear to bottom edge. The top edge corners are chipped. The spine is unfaded and clean. It shows a slither of loss ( 50mm ) at the head. The base if the spine is lightly rubbed. The back panel is sound. The top edge is worn and chipped. The wrapper is protected.
BOOK : The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are unfaded and clean - the top edge of the front board is lightly soiled. The corners are sharp. There is a touch of bruising to the spine ends. The text block is clean. The closed page edges are very slightly dusty. No foxing and no dog-eared pages. The binding is tight. No cracked hinges. This copy has been SIGNED and dedicated by the author - probably to a critic as the author has also written ' not too critical please ! '
