Wrapper : The wrapper on this copy has been restored. It has been professionally rebacked, having previously been in a number of pieces. It shows shallow chipping at the spine ends and the lower edge of the back panel and soiling to the front panel. It is unclipped - showing the price 13/6 on the inside flap. Now in Brodart, it looks much better than its grading would suggest.
Book : The book is square and tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. There is a small bookshop stamp on the ffep.The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners sharp. It shows trivial bruising to the spine ends. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are toned. No foxing. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A decent copy in a protected wrapper.
